Well, what a game! So proud of the girls again, and so great they seem to be enjoying themselves even if the result didn't go our way again. Their passing and positional play is improving by the week, and there was some amazing passages of play today which drew some great cheers from the crowd! Paloma's mazey run and shot was a particular highlight, so unlucky not to end up in the back of the net!
Paloma was the oppo Player of the Match, well deserved. As well as pulling off a string of great saves, P was a real live wire in midfield, tenacious and strong in the tackle, created numerous chances - well done P.
Paige was Parent's player. Again, very well deserved for some quite outstanding goalkeeping and solid defending also.
Coaches Player went to Chloe: Chloe has taken some huge steps forward as her confidence builds and I thought she looked great picking the ball up in defence and getting her head up to pick up some great passes - well done Chloe.
